Ecofont | less is more

"The prints we make for our 'daily use' not only use paper, but also ink. Lots of ink! According to SPRANQ creative communications (Utrecht, The Netherlands) this is partly unnecessary. Based on a hunch of Colin Willems, SPRANQ therefore developed a new font: the Ecofont."

Spiderpro: How To use html extensions for PHP pages

"The best solution is to learn your webserver that all HTML-pages must be treated as PHP-pages.
This will even work for pages that don't contain any PHP.
The server will just check if PHP is used - if so it will parse the PHP sections and show the parsed PHP and the HTML.
If no PHP sections are found - the HTML will be shown."

I linked to the site because it was so straight forward, if grammatically incorrect.

Another approach:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php .html or

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .html or

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php html

depending on where you are reading.

Doing a search on AddHandler vs AddType will bring lots of discussion and disagreement.

Some recommend one or the other.
Some just recommend using both.

Content language negotiation is a mechanism to allow visitors to see a website in their preferred language all from the same URL. This mechanism has been present in the HTTP protocol for years, but is fairly seldom used.

Since "World Wide" is part of the name of the Web, it was never intended to be an English-only medium. You can use any language in your Web sites, and various facilities have been added to the standards of the Web to allow you to indicate which languages you are using for the benefit of indexers and translators, and even to intelligently serve different language versions of your pages to suit user preferences. Apache's support for content negotiation has been updated to meet the HTTP/1.1 specification. Very often flags are used as symbols of languages, on the Web and elsewhere. For instance, a Web page might contain an "English flag" which acts as a link to an English version of a document (which itself is in another language). Create Index file in each subfolder

If you use subdirectories or folders as a part of your website, you might be revealing more than you want to.

If a directory (folder) does not have an index page inside, many servers will
then show a complete listing of everything you have inside that folder.

If you have a website www.mysite.com with an images folder at www.mysite.com/images what happens if someone enters www.mysite.com/images? If they get a list of images, add an index.htm file (or the Web Hosting server standard) into the subdirectory.
